Does The Water Project accept Bitcoin?
We cannot confirm it today. The Water Project was last confirmed accepting Bitcoin at its own checkout on 14 September 2026, but the evidence page has not re-confirmed it since: unreachable, blocked or too ambiguous to call. Treat this as unverified rather than as a yes or a no, and check at the merchant's checkout.

How this was checked
Every row in this ledger stores an evidence URL — a public page that states Bitcoin acceptance. A scheduled job re-fetches it once a day and classifies only the text it just retrieved, never prior knowledge. That is the whole basis for the answer above; there is no other source behind it.
